The Village of Sou'nik

The village of Sou'nik was founded in 15,689 from crewmembers of the pirate Captain Skinner and it grew as slaves were brought in, then by merchants friendly to the pirates. By 15,695 the village was thriving and a popular spot for pirates to stop off at for supplies.

As general rules, the following are oft seen things about the village and immediate area: -Stone heaps near the beach for drying clothes (the stones retain the days warmth from coal pits underneath) -Clay mound stoves used for baking -Fruit trees planeted throughout the village -Wood and stone tubs used for soaking or salting fish -Flocks of blackbirds (crows, ravens, magpies) -Fire pits for celebrations and cooking -Most houses and structures are sunken from 1 to 3 feet below ground level
